The cable is suitable for commercial vehicles such as trucks and buses, as well as for the wiring of electrical equipment in tractors, trailers and semi-trailers, trailers and small locomotives. For externally mounted tractor-trailer jumper cable , the primary ABS cable jacket must be colored green and the auxiliary cable must be yellow to provide an easier refence to the J2394 cable style. "Hidden" cables contained in tractor or trailer wiring systems may be black.
